Head Coach Brandy

Brandy Factory is a Dance Artist, Choreographer, and Teacher. She began her dance training at Compton Dance Theatre Foundation focusing on ballet and the Horton technique. Along with her pre-professional and professional endeavors, she received her B.A. in Dance from California State University, Fullerton in 2020 after transferring from Long Beach City College. At CSUF she trained in: Ballet, Graham, Limon, and Horton. Immediately after graduation she earned her 200 hr certification in Hatha Yoga and joined the Nannette Brodie Dance Theatre in 2021, where she was an apprentice in 2017. The Southern California-born artist performed at various venues including the country’s oldest international dance festival, Jacob's Pillow, and has worked with established artists such as Keith Johnson, Bernard Gaddis, Jessica Kondrath, and Doug Varone. She joined the Super Bowl LVI halftime cast in 2022. Brandy currently directs the Saint Anthony High School Dance Team and is the assistant coach for the Long Beach Jordan High School dance program. She is also on faculty at Center Stage Dance Academy. With acting and theater, she has performed in various musical productions and has worked with artists like Rufus Bonds Jr. on original projects. Brandy has had her hand in different art mediums, working as a freelance dance and portrait photographer, which combines her love for visual art and dance.

Mission Statement: Dance is a privilege, manner of self expression, school spirit, artistry, and athleticism. A dance team is a representation of their school and coaches, as well as themselves. The objective of the Saints Dance Team is to support other athletic teams, provide entertainment at school, sporting events, and dance competitions, and any activities that the head coach determines to be appropriate. The dance team also prioritizes developing strong student athletes through hard work and a passion for dance, so as to be a source of pride to the school, the team, and themselves.
