President's Message

 Dear Saints Community, 

I’m deeply humbled by the outpouring of support since taking the helm of our beloved St. Anthony High School just a few short months ago. It is the gift of a lifetime to lead St. Anthony High School in carrying out its mission of educating young women and men to lead lives of faith, excellence, leadership, and service while partnering with our families in the formation of confident, capable, faith-filled, and loving young adults. I have the blessing of working with gifted Catholic educators and staff, administrators, and coaches, who have contributed to a renewed school spirit, a culture of striving for success, and unity of purpose.

Enrollment has rebounded post-COVID and is increasing with 453 students enrolled today and students already interested in joining the Freshman Class of 2028! As we prepare for growing enrollment, we have been blessed with the generosity of the John and Cindy Smet Foundation as they selected St. Anthony High School to be one of six Los Angeles-area Catholic high schools to become an Onward Scholars campus. The Onward Scholars Program is a competitive scholarship and enrichment program for selected high school students with strong academic backgrounds providing a unique four-year pathway to success in their preparation for college. A tremendous gift in support of our commitment to academic excellence. 

To ensure we’re serving our families for generations to come, we are forming a committee to explore and develop a five-year strategic plan for St. Anthony High School. This committee will be composed of members of our Consultative School Board with an invitation extended to members of our school community. We will study our academics, faculty support, facilities, business operations, student support, strengths, and needs of our school. While Phase 2 of the Saints Athletic Complex will be part of this effort, we will explore innovative academic programming that will empower our students to gain an early start in college.

The beauty of St. Anthony High School is our graduates are grounded in faith to serve God and our world. They are wonderfully prepared to continue their educational journey and leave SA with the skills and abilities to pursue their ambitions, their dreams, and their goals. Once a Saint, always a Saint!
