Retreat Program

Student retreats are considered one of the most significant events in a student's time at St. Anthony. These retreats offer students opportunities to get away from the daily "grind" of life and get away for a while to reflect on life, relationships, and their faith.  Retreats are considered peer-led and planned by students and faculty in conjunction with trained Campus Ministry students and Campus Minister.

Freshman and sophomore retreats are one‑day experiences designed to deepen the students’ sense of belonging to the St. Anthony faith community. The retreat for the junior class is an experience that concentrates on interpersonal relationship skills and group belonging. The senior KAIROS retreat is a four-day, overnight retreat is an opportunity for seniors to reflect on self and relationships with God, family, and friends.  Students are encouraged to articulate their questions of faith and relationships and thus reflect on their life journey as they prepare for graduation and a faith-based life beyond high school

Arrangements are made through the Campus Ministry department with the help of their Theology Classes. As with any off campus trip, parent permission slips are needed for the juniors and seniors. This is a requirement for all students. Senior retreat fees are covered through tuition. An additional retreat fee may apply for Freshman, Sophomores, and Juniors. Information about these retreats will be sent home with the students and posted on the school website.

Teachers, Counselors, Retreat Leaders and other school personnel will respect the verbal or written confidences of students, except in cases where the health or safety of the student or others is involved.

Each class retreat differs in durations and focus.
