Maria Cecilia Rosa Memorial Foundation Scholarship

MCRMF is a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring the life and memory of Deputy Sheriff Maria Cecilia Rosa who was tragically murdered in March of 2006. Their mission is to provide educational scholarships to outstanding students who have shown academic excellence in their high school education and who have been accepted to an accredited college, university or trade school.
The award may be used to pay for tuition costs, room, board, books, instructional materials, and any other school fees.

Congratulations to freshman Nico Bodnar who represented St. Anthony High School at the Pasadena Poly Diving Invitational last weekend. This was Nico’s first time competing in four years, and he placed third overall in a field of 27 students!

Youth Leadership Long Beach Students Graduate

Six St. Anthony High School students were honored Saturday, March 14th, at Khoury’s Restaurant in Long Beach at graduation ceremonies for the 2009 Youth Leadership Long Beach Program. Graduates include sophomore student Lauren Siaumau and junior students RJ Delacruz, Natassaja Dolgorouky, Ryan Feltz, Luz Gonzalez, and Breanna Panaguiton.

Congratulations to these students on the successful completion of this prestigious leadership development program for youth throughout the City of Long Beach.
