Admissions Information for Incoming Freshmen

Dedicated to excellence in education, St. Anthony College Preparatory High School sets its standards high, accepting students who are motivated, enthusiastic and open to academic, social and spiritual growth. St. Anthony College Preparatory High School students are prepared to work hard, have fun through participation in school activities and strive for the attainment of excellence in all aspects of their high school experience.

Successful applicants must submit the following materials to the Admissions Office:

  • Completed Application for Admission Form
  • Entrance Exam Registration Form and Fee: $50.00

Applicant’s school and place of worship must submit the following application materials to the Admissions Office:

  • Recommendation by lead Eighth Grade Teacher or Principal
  • Transcript of grades for Seventh and Eighth Grades

  • The applicant must schedule a Personal Interview with his or her Parents at the high school.

 

The applicant also must take the Catholic School Entrance Exam. This exam is offered at St. Anthony College Preparatory High School durig January and by special appointment. Please contact the Admissions Office (562.435.4496) to register for the exam.

Admissions Information for Upperclassmen

Transfer applicants are selected based on space availability, high school grades, standardized test scores, curriculum compatibility, recommendations, involvement in school activities, and a personal interview.

Applicant must submit the following materials to the Admissions Office:

  • Completed Application for Admission Form

Applicant’s school must submit the following materials to the Admissions Office:

  • Complete transcript(s) (high school academic grades)
  • Standardized test scores
  • Record of appropriate classroom and school behavior
  • Letter of Recommendation from teacher/counselor/principal

  • Applicant must schedule a personal interview with Parents at the High School

Upon Admission, All Students Must Submit the Following to the Admissions Office
  • Physical Examination Form
  • Tuberculosis Clearance Certificate (If student is from out of state or from a
    foreign country)
  • Record of Immunization for Polio, Diphtheria/Tetanus, Measles, Mumps and Rubella
  • All Registration Forms (Completed)
  • If registering as a Catholic, letter verifying participation with church community
