Admissions/Non-Discrimination Policy

St. Anthony High School, mindful of its mission to be a witness to the love of Christ for all, admits students regardless of race, color, or national and/or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.
 
St. Anthony High School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, disability, sex, or national and/or ethnic origin in the administration of educational policies and practices, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs, although certain athletic leagues and other programs may limit participation.
 
While St. Anthony High School does not discriminate against students with special needs, a full-range of services may not always be available to them. Decisions concerning the admission and continued enrollment of a student in the school are based upon the student's emotional, academic, and physical abilities and the resources available to the school in meeting the student's needs.
 

Admissions

Parents of students who wish to apply for admission may apply online at www.LongBeachSaints.org or pick up materials in the Admissions Office.  Early Admissions Application deadline is January 20, 2017.  All students who complete their application by the deadline will be notified of their acceptance status on March 3, 2017.  Students who wish to enter grade 9 and do not meet the admission deadline are welcome to apply to the school at any time and will be considered on a first-come first-served basis, if space is available.
 

High School Placement Exam (HSPT)

Students applying for the 9th grade must take the standardized entrance exam which is offered on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 8:00am to 12:00pm in the Jack Errion Memorial Gymnasium which is located at the corner of 6th Street and Alamitos, across from the main campus. The fee for the entrance exam is included in the application fee.
 

Transfer Students

Minimum academic requirements apply. St. Anthony High School adheres to C.I.F. transfer eligibility rules for athletes. Students generally must have a 2.0 GPA with no "F" grades on their transcript.Transfer students are accepted based on space availability.

Transfer student placement is limited. We can not guarantee admission.
