Scholarships & Tuition Assistance

St. Anthony High School provides a variety of academic scholarships as well as financial aid to incoming freshmen students based on academic track record, test scores, character and demonstrated need for financial assistance.

 
                                                                SCHOLARSHIPS
 
Incoming freshmen students who apply and are selected may qualify for academic scholarships at a variety of levels.
  
Students who qualify for one of the awards below will be notified by SAHS after scores have been received
 
President’s Scholar Award
$3,000 tuition assistance is renewable each year as long as eligibility is maintained
 
Requirements:
• Score in the 98th percentile or better on the HSPT
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.5 each year
• Maintain good conduct
• Contribute positively to student life through service and involvement
• Remain current in payment of fees and tuition balance
• Fulfill yearly parent fundraising and service hour requirements
• Complete SAHS tuition assistance packet
 
Any President’s Scholar who does not meet these requirements, in any of the four years of attendance at St. Anthony High School, may forfeit his or her academic scholarship. Once a warning is issued, the student has one semester to  improve his or her GPA to the required level.
 
Merit Scholarships
Academic Scholarships in various amounts may be awarded to individual students who have a 3.0 or better GPA and whose entrance exam test score is at minimum in the 90th percentile. The Scholarship Selection Committee carefully reviews application statements and letters of recommendation, as well as the need for financial assistance in considering these award recipients. Students who do not maintain a 3.0 or better GPA at St. Anthony or who do not maintain good conduct or other obligations to keep them in good standing may forfeit their Merit Scholarship. Once test scores are received by SAHS, qualified students will be invited to apply for this scholarship.
 
                                                                 TUITION ASSISTANCE
 
No student who is qualified and has a sincere desire to attend and succeed at St. Anthony High School has ever been turned away due to financial need. Numerous programs are in place to ensure that a qualified applicant CAN become a Saint! Tuition assistance is awarded based on demonstrated need which is documented through the Financial Aid Application Process, renewable yearly.
 
Students receiving tuition assistance must:
• Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA
• Maintain good conduct
• Contribute positively to student life through campus involvement
• Meet their tuition and fees payment commitments, as agreed upon each year
• Fulfill annual parent service hour and parent support requirements
 
Tuition assistance applications MUST be received by the Admissions Office by February 24, 2017
for consideration for the 2017-2018 school year. No student is eligible for tuition assistance without
applying and providing the necessary documents.

Catholic Family Discount Program
A $1000 tuition discount is available to families who will have a student both at St. Anthony High School and at least one other student in a Catholic elementary school. To qualify for this discount, families must have a household income of $100,000 or less and provide income verification. Students receiving this discount must maintain all requirements as stated above. Please note: families receiving financial assistance from the Catholic Education Foundation do not qualify for this additional discount.
