St. Anthony Blanked By Harvard-Westlake

St. Anthony had plenty of opportunities on Friday night but failed to finish their drives as the Saints came up short against visiting Harvard-Westlake 14-0 at St. Paul High School.

PREVIEW: St. Anthony At St. Genevieve, Football

St. Anthony (2-5, 0-1) is back on the road for their second Del Rey League game of the season, visiting St. Genevieve (1-6, 0-2) for a 7 p.m. contest played at LA Valley College.

The Valiants have lost three straight coming into the game, including a 23-6 non-league loss to Campbell Hall. That’s a common opponent for St. Anthony, which was a 7-0 loss in the Saints’ non-league finale.

He wasn’t expecting to play in the game but after an injury, St. Anthony freshman Noah Furlow did what he needed to when his number was called at QB, throwing two touchdowns in a win over Marina

Victoria Valenzuela, St. Anthony Golf

The Lady Saints Golf team is still undefeated at 7-0 and improved to 3-0 in league play with a 244-289 victory over Paraclete last week. Valenzuela was the low scorer once again for the Saints.

Freshman QB Noah Furlow Leads St. Anthony Past Marina

St. Anthony freshman Noah Furlow wasn’t expecting to play as the Saints took on Marina Friday night in Downey.

But, when junior Adrian Perez had to be sidelined due to an injury Furlow was thrust into his first varsity action, just one day after leading the Saints freshman team to a win.

St. Anthony senior Elijah Lolesio-Pua helped the Saints to their first win of the season this week, as they brought home a victory against Wilson. Lolesio-Pua had an offensive and defensive touchdown in the win.
