Students in Mr. Banfield’s AP European History gave vivid live demonstrations of the art of the Italian Renaissance last week. From Vitruvian Man through the Creation of Adam, SA students portrayed some of the most compelling and beautiful artwork of the masters. The project, designed to give our students a greater understanding of the complexity of the Renaissance, exceeded expectations! In addition to the “Living Art”, several students did admirable Power Point presentations that showed a depth of understanding of the social and religious impact of the humanist culture of the Renaissance. AP Euro rocks!
