With Christmas just around the corner, Student Council has a few events coming up to celebrate.
Friday, December 12 - Ugly Christmas Sweater Day. Students are allowed free dress IF they wear an ugly Christmas sweater. So try to find the most obnoxious, awful or tacky sweater and wear it to school. A lunchtime contest will determine the top three sweaters, and prizes will be awarded. Of course, sweaters in good taste are invited too. See some photos of past winners to the side.
Friday, December 12 - Olive tree decorating contest. Each class has been assigned one of the courtyard olive trees to decorate. The winning class will get a free dress day. Bring any Christmas ornaments you would like to contribute to the tree.
Saturday, December 6 - Belmont Shore Christmas Parade. Come out to 2nd street on Saturday night and enjoy this Long Beach tradition. You may catch a glimpse of the Marching Saints band, ambassadors and the school mascot driving in one of the electric vehicles.
