Student Learning Services

St. Anthony High School is committed to supporting students with identified learning differences and other conditions impacting their learning needs, provided these needs can be met within the school's resources. In line with the Archdiocese of Los Angeles guidelines, SAHS offers academic assistance and appropriate adjustments through the STEP (Student Team Educational Plan) program. STEP/Student Learning Services:

The Vice Principal, serving as the STEP coordinator, meets with the student and their parent/guardian to prepare an educational adjustment plan reflecting minor adjustments and strategies tailored to the student’s needs. This plan is reviewed annually.

St. Anthony High School partners with Long Beach Unified School District’s special education department to support students with diagnosed learning challenges. LBUSD provides assessments and consultations to assist in meeting these students' needs.
