So You Want to Go to College?
That would be the point of attending one of the best college preparatory schools in all of Southern California, right?

So how do you "Get In"?
If you are fortunate enough to have parents or other family members that have gone to a four year college or university, you have a ready resource. Although many things have likely changed since they went to school, they have been there and can point you in the right direction.
Okay, so if you are not so fortunate to have that "ready resource" or you want to do some of the background research so you know what to ask, you have come to the right place. Getting into a college or a university is a process, just like getting a good grade in any of your high school courses.
For that good course grade, you need to:
- Attend the classes and take notes on the information provided.
- Do your homework and turn it in on time.
- Ask questions about the things you don't understand.
- Find other resources that can help you "get it" - classmates, tutors, family members, web sites, etc.
- Study for the tests/exams.
- Take the tests and review your results. Ask about any items that you gave you trouble (e.g. the items you got "wrong")
...and then repeat the steps.
It is not a hard process. That is not to say that getting good grades is easy, it's not. It takes a lot of effort and persistence. But the steps to getting good grades are not hard to follow.
