Our PEP Organization
Parent participation and leadership is an essential component to the vitality, development and promotion of any school. Parents and Educators in Partnership or PEP is the official parent organization for St. Anthony College Preparatory High School (SAHS). PEP is a forum for parents to initiate dialogue and ideas. The mission of PEP is to work in collaboration with other parents as well as the faculty, the alumni, the parish, and the community at large for the overall advancement, interests and betterment of SAHS. All parents or legal guardians of students enrolled at SAHS are automatically members of this organization.
The Purposes of PEP
- To promote active volunteerism and meaningful parent and family participation at SAHS
- To get to know other parents and build bonds of cooperation
- To increase communications with school administration and faculty
- To seek out resources and activities that will strengthen SAHS educational mission and goals
- To help raise the standards of learning and intellectual development for the students at SAHS
- To address and be advocates for important issues that effect SAHS students and community
- To support and initiate programs, projects and services that will advance the overall SAHS community
- To actively participate in fundraising endeavors that provide financial assistance for SAHS
- To perpetuate the spiritual growth of the SAHS students and community
PEP has been an essential part of the SAHS renaissance. The PEP organization was instrumental in making the St. Anthony’s 85th Anniversary celebration a great success and organized Spirit Night for the SAHS Community. With PEP efforts, SAHS was able to double the Cool Car Show earnings in 2005 and launch its first annual Casino Night that was held May 13, 2006.
