They Said it.......
"It is really an amazing story that is unfolding. The school is really thriving now. I recently served as a Mentor for a Day and came away so impressed by the students and the overall atmosphere. I would highly encourage a visit to the school."

Dear St. Anthony High School Parents and Students,
After an intensive search and review of applicants, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles announced last week the official appointment of St. Anthony College Preparatory High School’s new Principal, Mr. Michael Schabert.
We are all grateful for our current Principal Lori Barr’s successful efforts over the past three years. Under her leadership, St. Anthony’s curriculum, enrollment and reputation have grown, and we wish her all the best and much happiness in her new position.
As St. Anthony begins its 89th year of service to families in the greater Long Beach area, we are very aware that this historic high school thrives and continues to grow because of the faith, hope and love of countless people, most of all YOU, our parents and students.
With God’s grace and your continued involvement and support, we have much to celebrate. We can never doubt that God holds St. Anthony College Prep High School and its students, parents, faculty and staff firmly in his hand.
Please join us in welcoming Mr. Michael Schabert as Principal of St. Anthony High School. Beginning July 1, 2008, he will be on campus daily, and I know he is looking forward to meeting each of you!

60's Saints Cocktail Party
It's time to mark your calendar for our annual "60's Saints Cocktail Party". Come join many of your classmates from the 60's to a relaxing summer evening of friendship. We're still a few years away from our 50th Class reunion, so the cocktail party is a great way to fill the gap.
Join us at the Gaslamp Restaurant and Bar at the corner of Loynes Dr. and PCH (same as last 2 year's) on Saturday, 9/20/08. We have the outside patio reserved from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Please start spreading the word. Email and word-of-mouth are our only means of communication. So you've got to update our database if you move or change emails. Don't forget!
Please RSVP and let us know if we'll be seeing you!
Go to our blog to view prior cocktail parties.
Email questions and RSVPs to Joan (Gordon) Ingram. Have a great summer and I'll see you at summer's end!
