Our October 22, 2006 Open House for our Alumni, Students, Parents, Prospective Parents, and their families along with local Community Leaders was a smashing success. Our fantastic School and Foundation Board members and President's Ambassadors hosted the gala that brough together almost 300 past present and future members of the Saint Family. The Presidnet's Ambassadors provided entertaining and informative tours of the campus highlighting the more than $1.4 million rennoations completed this past summer and fall. Prospective families had the opportunity to meet with teachers, staff, alumni and current students and to pick up enrollment information.
Long Beach’s premiere Catholic High School again demonstrated that not only are students and families interested in a coed, college preparatory Catholic high school experience,but that St. Anthony is delivering on that promise. With a growing student population of more than 225, more than 37% are acheiving a 3.0 or better grade point average (GPA) - including more than half of the 9th Grade Class.
St. Anthony High School is a small school that offering big opportunities for students fortunate enough to attend. And with $1.4 million in facility renovations completed this summer, the downtown Long Beach campus really shines. A new library learning center, computer lab, science labs, bathrooms, courtyard pavement, lighting and landscaping, and new exterior paint throughout the campus, are just part of the story.
