2006 Season Record: Overall 18-9; Santa Cruz League 3-5
Season Recap: the Lady Saints dropped their play off opener 66-57 to New Roads from Santa Monica, ending their incredible season at 18-9. The Santa Cruz League was one of the toughest leagues in the CIF Southern Section this season. The Lady Saints will bring back most of the team next season so the future for our Lady Saints is bright!

Awards and Recognition
Talor Hixon and Brittney Bramlett were selected to the 2006-2007 All-CIF in Division IVAA. Talor made the first team and finished 4th in the voting. Brittney made the second team. This is only the second time in school history that two Lady Saints have made the CIF teams in one season. With Talor being just a freshman and Brittney a sophomore, the Lady Saints are looking forward to the 2007-08 season.
Talor Hixon was also honored with a spot on the All Santa Cruz League first team. She was joined by April Laughlin and Brittney Bramlett who both made the second team.
During the 2006-2007 seaon the Lady Saints had a unbelievable tournament run. At our own 63rd Annual St. Anthony Classic the Ladies were finalists and placed three players on the All Tournament team. Talor Hixon was selected to the first team and Brittney Bramlett and Ellysa Schmidt made the All Tournament second team.
At the Liberty Christian Tournament our Ladies were tournament champions. Brittney Bramlett was the tournament MVP and Talor Hixon and Brittney Quiette made the All Tournament team.
At the Garden Grove Holiday Classic The Lady Saints were the Consolation Champion and Talor Hixon and Brittney Bramlett made the All Tournament team.
The team banquet was held March 18 and on the Varsity level Talor Hixon was named MVP. April Laughlin received the Coach's Award and Karina Valiente was named the team's Most Inspirational Player. Nancy Valiente was honored as the Most Improved Player. Talor Hixon, April Laughlin and Karina Valiente were recognized as the team captains.
Our "Baby Saints" or JV team also has some honorees. Breana Panaguiton was named MVP with Gabby Duarte receiving the Coach's Award, Ryan Delaney the Most Improved Player award, and Tian Walker received the Most Inspirational award.
