Terry Gonzalez joined the community at St. Anthony High School in July 2010. Her career in Catholic education began as a teacher at St. Paul High School in the Social Sciences, where she also served as an Academic Counselor. Next Mrs. Gonzalez enjoyed 16 years working at Mater Dei High School as a teacher, department chair, and summer school principal. She accepted a position as Assistant Principal at Bolsa Grande High School. She served in that capacity for the academic year 2002-2003. She was appointed Principal at her alma mater, Rosary, in 2003.
Over the course of her career, she has developed extensive experience in the areas of Curriculum, Teacher Development and Evaluation, and Management. Her Bachelor of Arts degree is in History and Social Science from CSU Fullerton and she holds a California Teaching Credential. In 2002, she earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration with a thesis paper entitled “The Relationship between the High School Placement Exam and the Academic Achievement for Special Needs Students.” Along with her Masters degree, she earned an Administrative Service Credential. Above all, Terry Gonzalez is dedicated to supporting educators and the students who will learn from them.
