Dress-up day guidelines

As part of Spirit Week, students are encouraged to participate in the theme of the day to show school and class spirit.  Students who choose to dress are required to dress in the theme of the day.  Students who abuse the dress up days by choosing to come simply in *free dress* will be subject to disciplinary actions and jeopardize future dress up days for the school.  Seniors jeopardize the privilege of free dress Fridays

Students who choose NOT to dress in theme must come to school in full uniform.

The following are general guidelines for ALL spirit dress days:
1. No undergarments showing
2. No revealing clothing (cleavage, stomach, behind, sheer clothing)
3. Closed toed shoes must be worn for safety.  Shoes must have backs
4. Clothing that depicts anything that goes against the teaching of SAHS or the Catholic church are not allowed, including depictions of drugs, alcohol, excessive sexual innuendos, foul language, etc...

Additional guidelines for specific dress up days for BOP 2015

Rock and Roll Day
Dress like your favorite musical artist.  Clothing with excessive metal, spikes or chains are not allowed.
Guidelines #1-4 above must be followed.

Patriotic day
At least 50% of your outfit has to be patriotic and colored red, white, and /or blue.  Shorts with a white shirt is not considered patriotic.  One item of those colors is not enough.  An effort must be made to have red, white, and / or blue as the majority of your outfit.

Pajama Day
Has to be pajamas, not "what I wear to bed day*.  Sweats, gym shorts, yoga pants, etc* are not considered to be pajamas, even if that is what you wear to bed.  Pajama day is for pajamas only.

Bend the Dress Code day
The typical items that are usually not allowed at school are allowed, so long as they stay within the guidelines stated in #1-4 above.

Keep it classy Saints!
