"You Can't Take It With You" opens this week

The St. Anthony Drama department proudly announces its upcoming winter production of You Can't Take It with You.

You Can't Take It with You is a comedic play in three acts by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The original production of the play premiered on Broadway in 1936 and played for 838 performances.  The play won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and was adapted for the screen and won and Academy Award for Best Picture and Best Director.

You Cant Take It with You introduces the audience to the freethinking Sycamore family and they mayhem ensues when their daughter's fiance brings his conservative, straight-laced parents to dinner on the wrong night.

The Broadway version is currently playing in New York, and stars James Earl Jones.

Showtimes:   January 16 & 17 at 7:00 pm
January 18 at 2:00 pm

This will be the first drama production in the NEW Black Box theater, formerly known as B-04

Tickets are on sale at the main office and can also be purchased at the door.  Students: $8, General Admission: $10.  Parking will be available inside the school courtyard via the 7th street gate on a first come-first served basis.
