Drama and marching band
Drama and marching band were two of my favorite memories from SAHS. A few friends and I just had a reunion with Brother Kevin Berntson, co-chair of drama, a few months ago. The last time I saw him was 1990! After all those play/musical rehearsals and late nights, you really get to know people. Marching band was a blast. I remember going on all kinds of trips, competitions, and getting out of classes on school-days in order to perfom somewhere :) I was drum major in the year 1989-1990 it was a great year because I saw 4 years of growth since I joined the band in 1986. The SAHS band prepared me to go on to a bigger and better band: The USC Trojan Marching Band (where I got to travel all over the country and abroad).
