Entrance Exams - the SAT and ACT
Did you know that your GPA or ACT/SAT score could qualify you for one or more scholarships?
ACT
The ACT covers four skill areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science. The sum of the scores for the English, math, reading, and science scores is the sum score for ACT that is used for admission to the CSU. ACT also offers, as option, the Writing Test.
SAT
The SAT consists of three sections: Critical Thinking, Math, and Writing. Scores from Critical Thinking and Math are added and used for admission to the CSU.
Scholarships
There are a number of free services that can assist you in locating scholarships - Do your homework and apply for the scholarships that you are or might be qualified to receive.
