Advanced Placement (AP) Program
The Advanced Placement program is a national program sponsored by the College Board whose purpose is to provide a challenging academic experience, similar to that of a first or second year college course, to motivated high school students. Students who participate in the AP program and take exams have the opportunity to earn college credit.
The AP program is dedicated to open access and equity; therefore, any student who is willing to accept the challenge and rigor that an AP course provides will be considered for admission. Students who have registered for AP classes are required to take the exams in May.
St. Anthony College Preparatory High School currently offers A/P Courses in English, History, and Math. See the course descriptions in each department for the specific courses.
