Welcome from our Principal

Lori Barr has brought energy passion, and excitement to St. Anthony College Preparatory High School since she joined the staff in the summer of 2005. Lori values the importance of family and works hard to build and strengthen the relationships between the faculty, staff, students, parents, and our alumni.
“We believe that students who serve others are students who become actively engaged in the democratic ideals of our society, perform better academically, and live out the Gospel message.”
-Principal Lori Barr
Dear Saints Families, Friends and Loyal Supporters,
It’s that exciting time of year again…the time when we prepare to embark on a journey towards learning new things and meeting new people. A time when goals are set and dreams are made into realities. And a time to welcome possibilities for growth and excellence!
The administration, faculty and staff welcome back all of our returning students and families and would like to extend a warm welcome to all of those who are new to our community. We are so excited to start this year and we thank you for the opportunity to serve and teach the students and families of this community. We are dedicated to helping our families teach your sons and daughters in the way that Christ would; that is, with compassion, care, and love. We expect every young man and woman to strive towards excellence and works towards creating a just and equitable society where each human being is treated with dignity and respect.
You’ll see this evidenced in our newly restructured Christian service program, an area of the curriculum in which we place much emphasis. We intend to engage our students in quality service learning opportunities that will enrich their lives and the lives of those who are served. Additionally, we believe that students who serve others are students who become actively engaged in the democratic ideals of our society, perform better academically, and live out the Gospel message.
In addition to the opportunity to grow as a child of God, this school year will bring many exciting opportunities to engage in extra-curricular activities. We encourage all of our students to participate in the many athletic teams and clubs/organizations that our small school has to offer. If students are not actively involved in any of these opportunities, we strongly encourage the students and their families to support our programs! Come check out the football team, volleyball team, cinema production, or attend mass with the school. Please check out the calendar on our web site for up to the minute information about our various events!
The message is clear. St. Anthony College Preparatory High School is a community that relies on each individual to contribute their time and talent! I encourage all students and families to become actively engaged this school year by sharing your God-given gifts in an effort to create a wonderful and inclusive community!
The administration, faculty, and staff of St. Anthony College Preparatory High School are here to serve you. Please do not hesitate to drop in for a visit or just to ask a question. We welcome your presence and appreciate your support! In return, we will give all of ourselves to teaching and caring for your sons and daughters! Best wishes for a successful and productive school year!
God Bless,
Ms. Lori F. Barr, Principal
